SDI Rescue Diver

The SDI Rescue Diver Course will test your ability to solve problems under pressure and provide you with intuitive responses to deal with difficult situations before they develop into full-blown emergencies. With its emphasis on prevention, self-rescue, and the importance of managing situations effectively, the Rescue Diver Course will equip you to deal with a wide range of problems, making you a better dive buddy and increasing your confidence as a diver.

The SDI Rescue Diver program covers diver stress & self-rescue, diving first aid, swimming, and nonswimming assists, panicked diver responses, underwater problems, missing diver procedures, surfacing the unconscious diver, in-water artificial respiration, egress (exits) and first aid procedures for pressure related accidents. Through a series of dive accident scenarios, the diver will also learn about emergency management and equipment considerations.

Course Fee $250
Includes Rescue Manual, Inst fees, Class & Open Water Session, and Certification Card.

• Prerequisites: Advanced Adventure Diver with 15 logged dives or
• Open Water Diver with 40 Logged Dives
