DIVE COURSES & DIVE SCHEDULE
We have the last night dives of the year planned for Jocassee on Saturday night, Nov 8.
Call the shop to sign up for your advanced night dives or to come out and join us for fun night dives at the “Wall” and “Junk”
Divers meet at the Jocassee Main Dock @ 6:30pm.
The boat is going out on Sunday afternoons, Nov 9 and Nov 16. We have room on the boat for a few divers to join us on both dates for fun dives at the wall.
NEW COURSE
We are excited to announce we are now offering the new TDI “Intro to Tech” Course.
This course is designed to prepare individuals for Technical training courses such as Advanced Nitrox, Deco Procedures, Extended Range, Trimix and Cave diving courses.
Over the course of 3 dives you will be learning, practicing and fine tuning the skills needed to take tech courses.
The course will introduce the diver to:
> Advanced Gas Management
> Advanced Buoyancy Control
> Situational Awareness
> Gear Configuration and Selection
> Trim
> Use of Reels and Lift Bag Deployment
> Introduction to Double Tanks and Pony Bottles
Prerequisites:Advanced Diver and minimum 25 logged dives.
Age: 18 years old or 15 with parental consent
COST: Regular price for this course will be $225 but we are so excited and eager to start teaching this course that we have a great offer for the first 8 divers that sign up during the remainder of 2008. Cost will be $125 for the entire course. This will include instruction by 2 TDI Technical Instructors and the use of double tanks and technical backplate & harness for the course.
The first course date is Nov 19 and Nov 22. Wednesday night will be classroom from 6:30 – 10pm. Saturday will be the dive session from 9am – 4pm.
We will set another course date for December (date tba)

DIVE TRAVEL
CRYSTAL RIVER: Jan 29 - Feb 1, 2009
This is a great family trip for divers and snorkelers. All you need to know is how to swim and you can enjoy a chance to have a manatee kiss from one of the gentle giants.
This is also one of the best trips to complete your certification dives. Complete the class/Pool sessions here in Greenville and complete your OW checkout dives in Crystal River.

FT LAUDERDALE / DEERFIELD BEACH: Dec 10 - 14, 2008
Cost: $785 pp dbl occ
Trip includes Van transportation, 4 nights motel, 9 Ocean dives (wrecks and reefs) and up to two dives at Devil’s Den Springs. Tanks and fills are included in the price.
The dive trip will depart on Wednesday afternoon at 4pm and return Sunday night.
Great wintertime trip with water temps there in the mid 70s.

In the past we have sold our gear packages based on a model of Gold, Silver and Bronze. Each level, of course representing a different price level. Starting in November we are changing the Bronze package. It will now be known as the “Internet Price Buster”. YES, we can meet and sometimes beat internet pricing.
