Monday was the first day of fall, but Lake Jocassee is still warm with water temps in the high 70s and the vis is starting to pick up a bit from the terrible vis we had some weekends this summer. It will be the end of Oct before the lake really cools down for cold water diving, so come on out and join us on the boat for some great fall diving.

We just got in some really cool masks today. I have always worn nothing but a clear mask, but these masks may change my mind. They are made by SeaDive and we have gotten in several models of their TruVu Rayblocker masks as well as some masks with built in bi-focal lenses for those of you that are experiencing the short arm syndrome. Come by for a look, you won’t believe the clarity these new lenses provide.
Don’t forget our sales going on with Henderson wetsuits. All of our Hyperstretch suits are on sale. Drop by for a fitting, I promise you, once you have used Hyperstretch, you won’t go back to regular neoprene. With the extreme sales prices we have this is the best time to replace that worn out suit and get ready for some winter diving.

TRIPS
Several trips are being planned this week. We’ll soon have details on a Ft Lauderdale trip in December, Crystal River in January and we always have our springs, cavern and cave trips in February, March and April. So get ready to sign up for a dive trip.
We are also making plans to return to Bonaire and maybe another Caribbean destination next summer. So look for these 2 big trips to come up soon.
We have a group headed toWilmington this weekend for some shark teeth hunting and spear fishing. Maybe someone will get lucky and find that elusive 7” tooth this trip.
